In the song"Young and  Beautiful", by Lana Del Rey stresses the importance of loving someone for them because beauty fades,"Young and Beautiful " and "Will you still love me when i'm no longer beautiful" Lana tries to get the point across with a bountiful amount of alliteration, the second person point of view, and imagery.

In the song “Young and Beautiful” , imagery is used . This imagery shows that if love is real then you will love them when they “are no longer young and beautiful”. Love is not about looks it is also about the emotional aspect like Lana Del Rey portrays in this song. Lana says that "he is my sun,he makes me shine like diamonds " in this quote it says that he is her world he makes her shine , just like a diamond would in the sun .

This song uses alliteration to emphasize how love is important and looks are not . She through out the song says “i know you will “ as if she is trying to convince herself that he will still love her when shes no longer beautiful . She knows that most men will not love her when she is no longer young and beautiful .

Throughout the son Lana talks about how he is the perfect man. He is the one that every women wants. She then jumps into talking about religion how she does not want to loose her perfect man,"When he comes tell me that you'll let him in".
